Port Power Loosing Records Continue - No Longer The AFL Power House.

Midfielder Luke Power piled up 33 disposals while Brown booted seven goals and Bradshaw six in the Lions' surprisingly easy 22.15 (147) to 10.18 (78) victory - only their third in eight battles against the Power at AAMI Stadium.

It was the second successive week Port has been on the receiving end of records, following the Western Bulldogs' highest score - 25.16 (166) - and biggest winning margin - 76 points - against the Power.

The loss for the Power continues a disappointing pattern for the side that hasn't won two consecutive games this year, as well as revealing that captain Warren Tredrea is struggling to return from a knee injury.

For the Power, NAB Rising Star nominee Danyle Pearce was good in patches but it was Kane Cornes who fought the hardest for the visitors, with the gun midfielder closely supported by Peter Walsh.

It was high scoring first term with 10 goals on the board by quarter-time - Collingwood slightly more accurate with six straight majors to Port's 4.1.

The Power looked to be in trouble with injuries early on with Tredrea benching himself and Chad Cornes seemingly suffering a broken nose, but both returned later in the term - Tredrea contributing with a late goal courtesy of a free kick in the goal square.

O'Bree kicked his second goal to give the Pies a one-point buffer going into half-time - the quarter summed up as a low-scoring and frustrating arm-wrestle with the ball rebounding quickly from end to end.

It was a captain's goal by Buckley that started proceedings in the third term, sparking eight-straight goals to get the Pies out to a 48-point lead in only 20 minutes of play.

Port got the first goal of the final stanza with Kane Cornes contributing, and with Tredrea closely following with a second, the visitors looked half a chance of sparking some match-winning momentum.

But the Pies, while not quite as dominant on the scoreboard as in their stunning third term, rallied and put to bed any hope of a Power revival.

Despite the eventual winning margin, Port Adelaide coach Mark Williams felt his side had competed well in most areas, but was stung by an inability to curb Collingwood's third-term scoring spree.
